The Legendary Regina

1950,
For the first time, a motorcycle is given a woman's name instead of a purely functional designation, and even today, motorcycle enthusiasts associate the HOREX tradition above all with the “Regina.” Groundbreaking design, outstanding chrome finish and special paintwork, state-of-the-art technology and reliability made the model a bestseller as early as 1952 (over 20,000 units sold). A total of around 83,000 machines were built, with one leaving the factory every seven minutes at times . Until 1955, the “Regina” underwent repeated technical developments (camshafts, exhausts, cylinder head); in addition to the “Sport,” versions with 250 and 400 cm3 were also offered.

2026,
The queen of motorcycles from the 1950s is returning to the roads after more than 70 years. HOREX will once again place the once most coveted motorcycle in the world at the top of the market. The design, technology, materials, and functionality are just as extraordinary as the product itself. Just in time for the centenary of the HOREX brand, the market once again has a benchmark: the HOREX Regina EVO 2026.
