Fabrication
HOREX Fabrication
All engines and vehicles are assembled with great passion into a total work of art in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the HO-REX headquarters in Landsberg am Lech. Every step is monitored and documented by state-of-the-art quality assurance systems.
Structural Carbon components
HOREX is setting new standards in the use of structural carbon components in motorcycle manufacturing. For example, the entire frame and swing arm of the HOREX Regina Evo are made of CFRP, benefiting from the enormous in-house expertise of 3C Carbon Group AG. The carbon parts for all HOREX motorcycles are calculated, designed, laminated by hand and polished to a high finish here.
Paintwork
HOREX relies on the highest quality paints available and a great deal of manual work by specially trained specialists. For example, the decorative lines on the tank of all models are applied by hand. The tank logos are also painted by hand after anodising and then refined.
Chrome plating
In modern vehicle manufacturing, chrome coatings are practically obsolete due to the enormous effort involved. HOREX uses a special chrome process with a 3-layer structure. However, this is by no means the end of the process for the component in question: it is sanded and polished for several hours until the desired, completely flawless surface finish is achieved.
Performance Parts
HOREX does not compromise when it comes to performance parts either. The exhaust system of the Regina Evo, for example, is welded and assembled by hand. This is followed by a ceramic coating and, finally, extensive polishing. The result is a gleaming exhaust system of the highest visual quality and state-of-the-art technology.
