With the takeover of the brand, 3C-Carbon-Group AG is also revitalising the tradition of Landsberg as a “motorbike city”. It was at the historic centre of this city that Alois Wolfmüller and Hans Geisenhof built the very first series motorbike with a combustion engine in 1893. Wolfmüller even coined the German word for motorbike, “Motorrad”, and had it protected by patent.
After fundamental and extensive redesign, the 3C Carbon Group AG from Landsberg am Lech first presented the new HOREX VR6 in the exclusive Silver Edition in 2015, followed by the no less spectacular Black Edition. Both limited special series were then transferred to series production as the HOREX VR6 Classic and HOREX VR6 Cafe Racer in 2016.
Under the direction of the 3C Group, no part of the original VR6 model remained untouched. All relevant components of the motorbike were redeveloped and improved.
The experience of the 3C Development department, gained over many years, is omnipresent in the new motorbike. The ideas of the engineers from the professional Motorsport and Development team for the design of countless structural light-weight parts, such as the rear frame and steering head, are particularly eye-catching. In addition, the most renowned specialists from the two leading system suppliers and development partners for the automotive and motorbike industry were involved in the development of the new HOREX VR6 at numerous points.
