Team Engine
Responsibility for the development of the new HOREX heart & soul, the innovative VR6 engine, rests on many shoulders. Key people include the renowned designer Rupert Baindl (BMR) and the distinguished directors of the Institut für Verbrennungsmotoren und Fahrzeugantriebe GmbH (Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Vehicle Drivelines) at the University of Munich, Prof. Werner Bauer and Prof. Martin Doll. Application and bench testing for the new HOREX engine are being handled in the university's laboratories. As part of his duties as head of development at HOREX, Robert Rieder is responsible for coordinating the engineering team and project service providers. Rieder's team also plans prototype deployment and is responsible for scheduling road and dynamometer testing.
